THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MOPI’ GAME
Since the beginning of the year, a group of teenagers and children has organized, trained and participated in the MOPI’s game. During this time, some teenagers were designated as trainers, and were given the task of organising the younger kids in different teams. The chosen kids were trained by these coaches and taught how to practice new sports.
Obviously, after this event began, a lot of disparagers criticized this event, saying that organising the game, and training the children but also the trainers, it is time consuming. So, some people wonder why this event is important. And I think this event is very important, because this game allows the contributors to gain more autonomy by doing something on their own, and to become more mature, don’t be a sore-loser. But also, the contributors learn to obey the rules such as the securities rules, work with the others, in teams and to be fair-players. Moreover, the trainers also learn to become leaders, to be coaches. So, if they’re not learning mathematic, physic or French, it’s not as bad as people think. They are taught some other values, like perseverance, hard work, group work and autonomy as well, especially for teenagers. They are taught some values of life for their future, and I think, it is just as important as mathematic, physic or French.
During this event and its organisation, they are taught a lot of values and all contributors become more mature and grow up, even teachers. They all discovered something while they organized this event, during the training and they will learn even more during the game.
Finally, I think it is something precious for people to work together for a purpose. Come to the MOPI’s game because they are precious moments for children, teenagers and adults to remember.
